"I am often humbled when a jazz artist I'm not familiar with blows my mind. The album Spring Comes Early by John Herberman has humbled me...in that it blows my mind! It is such a mature and tasteful recording!" Jaymz Bee, JAZZ.FM91

Spring Comes Early, John’s latest project, will be released on CD on October 27, 2023. This recording of 8 new original compositions is deeply rooted in the world of Bill Evans, Ahmad Jamal, and early Miles Davis, but with a little Snarky Puppy thrown in for good measure. John is once again featured on Scarbee Rhodes and piano, with the support of many of the same great musicians heard on his previous recording Overheard On a Park Bench, plus a few new players. Available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and other major platforms.
